1. Use a hand mirror when you apply your mascara. The idea is to hold the mirror down
and look into it as this lets you see and therefore apply mascara from the root all the way to the tips of your eyelashes.
2. Ziz-zag a volumising mascara wand at the base of your lashes to thicken them. Then making sure the pointy end is facing the inner corners of your eyes, pull the wand through.
3. Next, switch to a lengthening mascara wand. Close your eye and run the brush over the tops of your lashes for intense colour and definition.
4. To create a spidery effect, hold the lengthening mascara brush vertically and run it across the tips of your lashes.
5. Lastly, press (rather than swipe) the mascara wand against your lower lashes to tint them without making them appear too long.
